Ski-pants that won't tear...

I realise this is probably a pipe-dream, like binge drinking without hangovers or guilt-free regular sex without commitment (or cost), but after somehow tearing the arse out of my pants yesterday, I'm feeling pretty frustrated.

Can anyone recommend a pant that is fairly heavy duty. I know that nicks around the ankles are pretty inevitable, but advice on a pant that at least tears only rarely would be muchos appreciated.

I went for a cheaper(ish) Helly Hansen pant last time, so maybe I'm paying the price for my stinginess, but these things have torn like no pant I've ever worn before.

Any ideas on something sturdy and with marginally more style than a heshen potato sack would be great.

 
my puffys hardly have any tears...none that are too big anyways. ive takin some nasty falls on rails with em too.

yeah i have HH pants and no tears in them, except my knee where i got stabbed.

i have a helly hanson shell pant, and it hasn't torn, zippers still work, still as waterproof as it was 4 years ago. they make some pretty kick ass gear.

my orage pants lasted a week...stupid fucks put a seam at the knees, first bail off a jump land backseat and they tore

 
ive got oakley 2x4's they haven't torn, but the buttons on the side come undone and at the bottom they dont shut anymore. try buy em' w/ out buttons

i reccomend the sms badass pants. theyre really durable, and they have stronger material around the ankle that will not tear, and they look killer.

 
i got a pair of SWAG pants last year in Breck. They are super comfy, warm and perfect. Its too bad they went out of business.
