Ski Opinions for Holiday Valley skier

I ski at Holiday Valley. I am 6' 180. I am looking to get a new pair of skis. I had AR6s and loved them but am thinking of getting something a little wider. Is this a good idea or would AR7s still be my best choice? I like to ski everything too...groomers, park, trees. dont really care about pipe.

The skis I have been looking at are ARV, Jeronimos.

In your opinion what would be the best ski for me?

I am putting this in reginoals because i want people from around me to answer, not someone from utah.

+k for opinions. thanks.

I too have the AR6's and think they are a great ski. Let's be honest at HV you're gonna ski park, park, more park and some trees. So go with a park ski. I have talked to numerous people who have ridden next years AR7 (i haven't yet sadly) and they say it's the best bet for a bomber ski to rock the park but do anything. I think i'm gonna be buying them. btw they were what i was gonna recommend before you said you thought they might be nice haha

I currently ride T-Hall's. I seem to feel that the Ar7's are going to be a sweet ski but ive been thinking about the pipe cleaner only because it seems to be a good all mountain ski also but that being said I don't ride pipe much.

I ride HV every single weekend in the winter, hell I've probably shredded with you, but that's irrelevant. As you probably well know HV doesn't even make decent jumps until late January so we are left hitting mainly rails for a good portion of the season. Because of that I bought Line Afterbangs last year and they are most definitely the best ski I have ever skied. I also have ridden them in the "pow" off eagle and they work quite well there, and also held up to the Jib Academy Jumps really well. Hope I helped.

they were actually real fun in the slush even though it was more like water skiing, but not a practical ski, spent most of the season out west

Haha the absolute last day of HV some dude from like Ohio was bombin' around on HellBent's with FKS. Looked absolutely insane. Slidding rails and everything haha

thats just stupid on that guys part, i wouldnt hit a rail with my ep's on but i did hit the step up and the hip at the spring sesh with those.

how did this thread go from what ski people think would be good at holiday valley to talking aboutwhat features everyone hit with what ski? just sayin

I ski at 7 springs PA. Last year i skied ar6's, and the width was fine for normal PA skiing. Fortunatly, we got a shit ton of pow days this year, and i found myself wanted a pow ski cause i was skiing a foot + many days. However, the ar6's held up fine in the max of 2 and a half feet we got, just had to lean back a ton.

this year im getting on3p blue steeles and then hoping to pick up some atomic bent chetlers as a long term (stupid) investment, just incase if we ever get a good storm at PA and when i go to vermont and out west

any park ski is fine for hv, terrain isnt that crazy that you need a more all mountain ski. i always used anthems or punx when i rode there and never had problems skiing anything.

im just thinking a more all mtn for when i travel a whole 1 maybe 2 weeks out of the sesaon so i dont need two different pairs of skis.
