So im going to the University of Canterbury on exchange in Christchurch...where should i get my pass to? considering that im looking for terrain to build jumps and ski lines.

Mt Hutt is the only commercial field close to christchurch. If you are looking for some pow and jump building and lines get a chill pass, gives you like 11 clubfields to ski at. It is often called poor mans heli skiing because not many people got to these places so you can almost always find some freshies. You have to use nutcrackers but once you get past that it is all good. Here is the website http://www.chillout.co.nz/home.asp.. Hope that helps. pm me if there is anything else you need to know.

^^right.make your way further south too though if you can...treble cone has some good spots just out of bounds, not to mention it has some of the best inbounds and nearby lines in the country for a large public resort(www.treblecone.co.nz)

make sure you go to snowpark as well, even if you are lookin to build jumps or do lines...its amazing.(www.snowparknz.com.
