It is definately illegal. There isn't really anything that they can do though. Don't copy any amatuer vieos though, just the big companies that rip you off.

i want some tgr films, like los alamos, or/and area 51, or are there any other big production copmanies, msp, i dont have global storming, and i dont have any level 1 productions but i otta support them since they are not, from what i know, a big corporate company, oh yeah and did that poor boyz take two ever come out and did anyone get it?

it is very illegal to copy movies. thats what that FBI warning is about at the start of almost every movie. if they find out you were copying and selling movies... something happens. i got some movies from a certain someone on this site for a cheap price. im gonna copy them and sell them so i can buy siver clothes. its all a big cirle.
movie company makes movie > Skier buys movie > Skier sells a copy of the movie > uses money to buy clothes/other ski stuff > money from buying ski stuff goes to the company's riders > company's riders star in ski movies > movie company makes another movie.
so noone loses out.

why not, i am in canada eh? so it wont cost much money for other canadians to mail me, but for you new zealanders (at least i think tahts what i thouhgt i read you were from) it would cost like more to ship then it would for you to order off the net, well i think thats exagerating but it would probably be quite expensive
