Alil dissappointed with the soundtracks this year....i mean each video had some good ones i.e. sammy carlson's in war, cory vanular's in S6, CR's in PYB, Pep Fujas's in War, etc.....but overall not too exciting

my favs were, dumonts in TBC, beckers in TBC, tanners in TBC, sammys in WAR, vincents in WAR, the last song in WAR (boys of summer by the ataris), coreys in S6, tanner rains in S6, and steeles in S6, and the last song was ok (the credits)

but go to the movie SNOWBLOWER in the bonus features of S6, that has a killer soundtrack
 
I kinda like The Tangerine Dream's soundtrack, good mix of a lot of styles. I especially like the pyramid gap segment, JMT all the way.
 
What you dont know is anything about royalty.... those songs are just used cause they are cool... More prominently known artists require more money to use their song.. it also depends on the number of dvds being made as well as the song.. song length.. and where will it be used... those songs are cheaper and yes they do work with more video parts..

just cause its not the new britney doesnt mean its not a good song...
 
that wasnt the point at all...obviously they have to pay for their shit but spending an extra few bucks would make the vids so much better
 
Don't forget: DC in S6 and Austin/Europe in S6. And Whiteshine had good songs for the most part.
 
Oh yeah and the song in the beginning of PYB. the one that says 'pop yer bottles' at the beginning
