i know there is a thread on this but i searchbared forever. i hate making new threads but w/e. how much does your shop charge to mount bindings? i got hooked up by my shop for $37 but they said it usually is $60 if you dont buy the stuff at their shop. but i bought my boots there so they hooked me up. And they actually asked me where i wanted them mounted, which was unexpected because it used to be a noob shop but not its pretty chill.

50-60 is way too expensive. you should be able to find a shop that will do it for around 30 even if you didnt buy skis and/or bindings there.

$50 if you bought equipment somewhere else, free if you bought equipment from the shop. Moral of the story... support your local shop and you won't get raped with fees.

at my shop, its free if you buy skis/boots/bindings/anything expensive, $35 if you bought anything, $50 for a walk in mount, $75 for a remount. but in my opinion anything over $35 is too expensive, except for kids skis, we should charge double for those

we charge 70 if u dont buy anything from us, 50 if u buy one piece, 26 for two, free if u buy skis boots and bindings from us. ur gonna see that system becoming more standard across the industry, especially in smaller shops. almost every shop around us is going the same route, with a lot of shops charging 100 if the skis werent bought from them, but we are on the east coast, with no real mountains nearby (like 2 hours) so there arent as many shops to keep the prices down

free at my shop and i don't buy skis or bindings from them. they gave me a cheap pair of boots but usually they just mount for free. i give them like 20 bucks for fks on fat skis though because it takes a while and they have to measure out and stuff

The case of beer for the techs is always nice, being a tech i know first hand.

We had a guy last season tip us with a sack everytime we tuned his ski. It was fucking awesome.

70!!? thats crazy. mountain wave in breck is the chillest shop ever- i got a remount and edge and wax over the summer for $20

thats a sweet deal. i wish i could ship my junk to you lol. im sure that would cost a bit more than my $37 job
