alright..i have a fucking dilemma...i am getting new skis this year. i have narrowed it down to between the line mike nicks (171), or the 164 1260's. i am about 5'6' 140 pounds. i would really rather have the mike nicks, but im afraid i wont be able to spin with them. last year, i skied on 153 12's. at the end of the year i started skiing on my cousins 164 12's because the 153's were too small. the 164's felt about right.....help me make up my mind....mike nicks, or 164 1260's

go for the 171, i am 5'7 and have 175's, came from a 164 1260, and i like the 175 alllot more, you wont feel a difference after the first like 3 days of park. seriously.

get the mick nicks, they look cooler to, and remeber length is in centemeter, so they're only aobut 3 or 4 inches longer than the 164's and alot of that is tip, so really there isn't much difference

Hey: have you looked at 4FRNT? they are frickin burly and make lines look generic k-mart or something. Check out their website: 4frnt.com. they got 170's. they are the greatest.

I used to skiboard.

Now I cant because I refuse to live a life of sin.
 
go with the 171's it better for u now, but if u end up growin during or before the season and have 164's you'll be hatin life unless all u do is park and u like short skis, the same thing happened to my friend, but at your size now those are good

what about if u ski powder all day. is the length longer of the same? (sorry to put this on ur thread but i have a few q's)
