Ski Japan

Pretty much anywhere in Hokkaido around the Niseko area, Rusutsu etc... Honshu is good as well with Shiga Kogen and other Nagano areas.

Furano, Ashidake, Tomamu, Kiroro and Rusutsu are all on Hokkaido and meant to be good (I've only skied Rusutsu and Niseko). Niseko is so sick though, get involved, if you need any info hit me up.

just go live in sapporo, teh snow still piles up to a good metre on the sides of the roads and you could get some super sick street edits, heaps of rails, fences and buildings to shred on plus super sick setting....and if you're ever in niseko, go to kutchan on the night go bus (only 100yen for the whole season), mad mad town, try and find Nami Chan's bar/resturant or the Loaf Lounge, both really nice places, Nami's has some really good food and the Loaf Lounge is the best urban hangout down there, indoor skatebowl and everything

Dude, I totally agree with you, Im here in Niseko right now and I am stunned! The people, the snow, everything is just amazing. Your also 35 mins from the ocean, which is real ill. I just go back from night skiing 10 mins ago and that was the best night pow shredding on THE PLANET! Place is unbelievable and i'm bummed to leave in 6 days.

I am in Joetsu right now and it has been raining its butt off for a couple of days. All I can say is that every Japanese freestyler that I have met that is here for the Nippon open is super friendly and super stoked to be skiing. It's really refreshing. no tudes here.

I almost bailed since conditions here are poor. glad I didn't and now I wish I had an extra week to get up north and sample some of the goods that Japan is famous for....

save your money and go with a group. its worth it.

nobody mentioned the Japanese Alps on the main Island. Hokuba to be exact. Picture Alaska, in Japan. That place is on my list.

The terrain looks sick for sure, but they've had a lot of rain this season. A mate of mine lives there and hasn't been happy.
