Ski help

Id say 178 would be ok, but wouldn't go shorter than that. How much do you do rails compared to jumps?

I recommend the Filthy Rich 181, Icelandic Da Nollie 180, Line Blend 178, and Karel 98 as some softer options that can still hold on jumps, and will be more fun on rails. It may wash out a little more on jumps when you are backseat but I think its worth it. Some stiffer options are Volkl wall 185 (I have pair for cheap almost brand new if you want some), ON3P prester, Atomic Punx, and the Salomon NFX. Personally Id go with a medium stiff or softer option. There are a lot of medium stiff skis out there (included the Chronic) but personally Line doesn't have the best durability, a small exception for the blend (atlas I've heard)

ya I would recomend the Da'nollie 180

If you're regularly hitting 50ft jumps then 178 might be a little on the short side. 185cm Chronics would probably be a better option as they will be more stable for jumps. However if you're getting a really good deal on the 178 Chronics then go for it.

i can also get pretty sweet deals on punx 182 and domain 179

If money is an issues, pick something you can get cheaper. The punx is pretty damn stiff, the Domain is pretty soft, but doesn't hold very well on bigger jumps and can wash out
