So after this past season Im not spending to much time in the park due to injuries so its mainly just for groomers and backcountry skiing. Im about 6'3 been skiing since I was 2.5 so im def an advanced skier. In the past Ive skied on rossis, vokyls and ive loved them both. what are some skis that I should really think about getting to be able to bomb down groomers and kill it in the backcountry as well. thanks. any help gets +k

stick with Volkl. Gotama or Katana should be stiff enough to ski groomers decently. If youre east coast, check out Mantra with its new early rise and added width. If you want to go with ON3P, check out almost any of their skis. Everyone raves about them

Salomon BBR, best carving andpowder performance I have had in 1 ski. It will crank turns on hardpack, thanks to it 13m radius, but the tip and rocker keep the front end up really well in the soft stuff. Definatly worth a try.

Other then that, all mountain skis are the biggest catorgory by far, so you have so many options. Some of my favs over the years have been, K2 recon, Dynastar mythic rider, Scot mission, K2 Kung fugas, if your after more powder then carving, Volkl AC30/40. As I say there are so many skis in that catorgory you really need to go out and test some, and see what suits you the best.
