Ski gash

I was skiing off trail and must of rode over a rock......cause I now have a half a centimeter deep gash the entire length of one of my skis. It cuts past the layer for the wax, and into the ski wood. Help?? It goes from tip to tip, so are my skis repairable?
 
Maybe just fill it with ptex i don't know and that would be a ton of ptex and I donk know how permanent that would be either but may be worth a try.
 
Damn, that's rough. I had a gash about half the length of my ski and part of it was down to the core. I just used p-tex and it has been holding up so far.

How wide is the gash? Pics would help.
 
Get a couple sticks of P-Tex, light one and keep heat on it until it runs in a stream the scrape off the excess and resurface the area then wax it
 
Damn, that's brutal. If you don't feel comfortable ptexing it, I would bring it to a local shop. They'd definitely be able to hook you up. Never had a gash that big in any of my skis.
