Ski Furniture

my home mountain makes some pretty sick chairs made completely of skis and they have two binding toe pieces facing away from eachother on the arms as cup holdersheres an attempted picture

Did you construct the base of the chair yourself with skis, or is there like a woodframe type thing on it?
 
A far better use would be to send them my way... But you could probably make a shelf out of like 4 skis
 
kinda stupid question but if you make the back of the chair with the topsheets showing, do the pointy tips dig into your back or neck? im thinking bases showing would be more comfortable or maybe im just dumb
 
You make those pieces long enough to avoid the head and neck of a person sitting in the chair. I've broken so many park skis over the years that I almost have enough for a full size adirondack bench. That's what I'm saving them for :)
 
Nah as you can see in the pic I have topsheet showing but i made the seat deep and measure to make sure the tips wouldnt interefere and its amazing
 
could you take a picture of the legs of the chair? I just want to see the full setup so I can modify mine off your design.

I even put clear P-tex over the screws.

I might add a cup holder made out of 2 toe pieces, but I think that would be too tacky
