I need to buy a new pair of skis this season. I have read a lot about several skis, but can't really decide which skiis that will be perfect for my skiing. I love to ski off-pist. Here in Norway there are a lot of trees, so I kind of need some skis that are easy to handle and can make fast short cuts so I dont end up planting my face in the trees. I mby ski good pow snow once a year (max), so I dont need any specific powskis. I also hit the park, so ofc a ski that can handle the park as wel would be great

I am also unsure about the lengt that I need. I never really hit the big jumps, so I dont feel that I need long skis that will make my landings easier. I am 188-189cm tall, and now I am riding AR6 that is 181cm long. I maybe feel that they are a bit too long? I don't know, would it be fatal if I got some skis that are shorter? Like I said, I need to make fast and short cuts when I carve. But ofc, I also hit groomers, so I don't want a pair that I cant really enjoy some fresh groomers in the morning.

Thanks for answers.

atomic punx or scott tom wally pros. They both are light, nimble, and fun. Doesn't sound like you need a wide waste, and turning is a priority. These skis turn well

Yes, ok. I also weight about 80kgs. I will probably never hit some really fresh pow in the next 2-3 years, so I dont think I need any powskis. I never do hit any big jumps, but I love to just play around in the park with the smaller jumps, and do some 180s or 360s (awesome, I know). I am just not that crazy. I love to do some groomers, and like I said, I need some skis that turn fast when I go off-pist.

And what about the length of the skis? Can I go under 181cm, when I am 188cm tall?
