I have no clue really how I did this and didn't notice it until the end of the day. My biggest question is how I would get that part of the base back to the other side of the edge? Thanks and +k for who ever helps.

From the pictures I don't understand very well what's the situation but seems like you have a piece of base that has gone over the edges teeth, correct me if I'm wrong...anyways for me there are two options:

A-try to pull out the base so that you can glue everything up again with epoxy

B-cut the piece of base that is stuck then glue everything up and repair the hole that you've created with ptex or similar.

The tip seems completely delaminated so you probably want to use a support when gluing with epoxy ( like some wood scrap or metallic plates to uniform the pressure)

Hope it helps.

Thanks for answering sorry for not being very specific on anything but the tip delaminated and when it did it brought a piece of the base with it to the other side of the teeth. which I don't understand how it happened because its not bent or broken at that part. I just need to try and figure out how to get the base back over to the other side without messing it up too much. In the end I think I'll put bolts to keep it from delaminating again. If I can't though ill go with your option b most likely.

It's a strange failure indeed...

Well if you're forced to use some mechanical way to keep it together i'll definitely suggest to use rivets. couple of strong rivets plus epoxy should do the trick

Good luck man!
