Ski Delam Help?

Hey guys, I finally got to ski on my warranty jskis I recieved and this happened. I was wondering what the best route to fixing this would be becasue these skis have only been ridden on once. I like them a lot and want to fix it so I can ride them till I can get my new skis.804555.jpeg804556.jpeg\

btw this isn't to spread any hate, jskis has the best customer service in the business and Jason is the man

See what Jskis will do for you, and if they cant do anything then try gluing it and clamping it. for the tip and tail maybe try putting in a rivot or if you cant, then put a small bolt and glue the thread. it might add some swingweight but atomic and k2 do it so it cant be that bad

Rivets are the key. Glue just blows apart. Hell, glue then rivet.

Once a ski starts delaming its not good and will likely continue.

So those are new off warranty? Were they fixed and the same problem came back or was this a brand new set? If its a new set, def talk to JLEV. I feel like they will stand behind their product, small starter companies can sometime have QC issues.

Your second option would be to fill that delam up with gobbs of marine epoxy, get some huge clamps and keep em clamped for 2-4 days to ensure a amazing hold and that they are fully cured. After is is cured, get 3-5 rivets in there. You can even use bolts, nuts and lock washers.

Yeah this was after the first time I rode on them and they were replacements for jskis i had before that the edge came out. jason definitely has the best waranty in the game and I got to pick a new set of skis for free and they will be here thursday, and thanks for the advice!

1. GET FULL TILTS

2. Just put like 2 or 3 bolts in it across the top an it should fix you problem for a while at least. I would also get some better skis bud!

I would peel of the topsheet alittle more, make sure the surfaces are clean everywhere, fill with epoxy, clamp, wait and your done. I had a similar issue once and never needed rivets to keep it together afterwards.
