some lady at sporting life told me that salomon and head are going to start selling their skis in bundles of 3 instead 2s. because so many ppl are sending their broken skis back. so this way they have an extra ski to use if one breaks **kind of like a spare tire**

Thats the worst idea I have ever heard. Instead of wasting all the money for that extra ski that the most of the people will never use, they should invest it into developing a ski that will not break.

I would rather have skis that did not snap then having a spare. How about investing the money in developing stronger skis instead. Make better bases and edges that won't crack.
