Ski Bum Tips and Tricks

Yep, skiing is expensive. How do you get by?

Luckily I work at a resort and am able to get lift tickets for free. But food, gas money, lodging, gear etc. adds up. You guys have any tips?

I steal condiments and utensils from the lodge and keep them in my backpack. I also take a plethora of napkins that I use for toilet paper. I have a car but bussing up everyday is half the price, and can usually snag a ride home. What do you guys do to get by?
 
when i think of the term ski bum i think of some one who doesnt work during winter and rides all the time
