Ski Brakes

I enjoy getting real steezy in the park with dripping wet butters and what not however as i've tried to learn new tricks over the past couple years i always have an issue with my brakes getting bent. I have kartel 98s with look pivot 12s and my brakes got all bent outta shape when I did any of my tricks to switch body slam. Is this a common issue /slash/ is there any recommendations or short cuts to avoid this from happening or am I a jerr-bear.

Thanks homies

gear talk...probably 3 threads on the front page about brakes. answer: bend them back / try to land better next time.

I have the same set-up. My brakes have been bent all over the place.

The bad thing about pivot brakes is that they bend easily. The good thing about pivot brakes is... They bend easily. Just yank those suckers back and keep skiing.
