Ski boot sizing help

Bought the limited pink full tilt kickers in Whistler a month back. I'm a size 11 with around a 100-102 last. I decided to go with the 29.5 (my mondo size technically) since the 28.5 seemed super uncomfortable at the time. I got custom insoles and a heat mold also.

I've used the boot for a little bit now and my heel lifts and toe bangs and I just don't get good control (riding switch, turning, stopping etc.)

What are my options? I paid $500 basically and these boots are limited to 400 worldwide :/

My friend has 50% off salomon. Should I get new ones? If so, what size.

*go to a reputable boot fitter. there are many shops that just dont give a fuck.

look for something with as narrow last as you can, and get the shop to open them up. they can punch them, grind out the toe box, cut away material so theyre softer in certain spots. i think the tip over point for work on boots is when the work costs more than a different pair of boots (that may potentially fit better). my buddy with TW FT classics has spent around $400 on punches over the years.

im still riding fischer "vaccuum fit" for over 4 years and im on my second set of intuition liners. heat moldable boots are almost a guarenteed way to get a good fit. there are some quality issues associated with them.
