Yeo, this is my first year skiing.

i snowboarded most of my life, but decided to give skiing a try finally.

I really like it i bought a good pair of technia boots, the only problem is after a few runs my feet are fucking killing. It hurts most at my toes and upper heel. im not sure if its just something you get use too, or i better get some new fucking boots. I tryed ski socks alone the first time and today i did a normal pair with thick ski socks over!

Suggestions would be great thanks!

Were they fitted properly?

If so, stick with a pair of thin socks - I wouldn't recommend wearing thick or 2 pairs.

The boots should pack out after a week of solid skiing in which case there will be a little more room for your feet

Look into custom footbeds as well.

If all that fails, and the boots were fitted properly, then you can speak to the bootfitter about doing some shellwork

Are the painful areas the same on both boots?

AHH........the infamous lumpy technica liner strikes again.

They should break in, but most def invest in some orthodic insoles regular superfeet for about $50 and if ur feeling frisky custom Korks for about $150, either will make a world of difference

you should go back to your bootfitter and make sure the shell fit is right too large of boot will make your toes hurt from repeated ramming of the toes into the front of the boot, if the fits good have them heat mold the liner this will help, and heel could be that the ankle is not at the right position in the boot and remember i can't see your foot so these are just some possible solutions to the info you gave. and def wear only one thin ski sock. also downunders trim and fits are a great opionion and low cost at 34.99.
