Ski boards need to go

put up a pick of someone stomping a decent cliff on skiboards im talking decent height 15-20 ft and ill give skiboarders props every time i see one

its almost the same thing bro...try the real thing its awesome...its not that i don't like it or i'm ignorant of change its just that i've tried both and skiing is so much more fun you should try it sometime if you haven't!

i dont hate on skiboarders i just want to see footage of someone dropping a cliff on them or bombing anywhere in the back country for that matter

The cliff drop (it's at Berthoud, I believe I was told it was Nitro rock, but not positive about that) isn't in this teaser, but is in the full film. The teaser however does have a 15-20foot huck off of a cornice.

Meh, forgot to actually embed it....here's for all the lazy and inept

i dont get why we are at a war on what is right or wrong whos business is it to say. if u ask any of the pros they will just say good things about the other sports. skilled skiers dont hate on snowboarders they just ride along with em so why do we need to hate on our roots. all three sports are sick and have their own strengths and weaknesses

sooooo.....

i still dont know why people hate so much on ski bladers/boarders, i know alot of guys that have em and go up on them just for fun, and ive seen some of them shred the park harder then i can. sometimes they get in the way, but shit everyone does that, not just the ones on short sticks

See i understand where you are coming from, you've tried em and they weren't your thing. What i can't stand though are the skiers who ARE ignorant of change and who haven't tried it and who are ignorant to the whole idea of skiboarding. I personally have tried the longer twin tips and i wasn't to into the length. I personally love skiboards..but aside from that what i said above is what really pisses me off. I have nothing against anyone here, just haters who hate because they just don't know.

and while i have most of your attention let's clarify the difference between a snowblade and a skiboard

Saw some guy riding some Salomon blades, and I started talking to him about real skiboards. He seemed so happy with his blades he had 11 pairs... Fooolll. I had to heckle him.

Both of the skiboarding films in this thread were lame...There wasn't anything that was big, it was all small jumps, weak backcountry, and good rails. There were some good rail skills, but in the second film, they were hitting the small line at Key filming into the big line...I mean come on, the main line jumps aren't huge...Grow a pair.

I think Ski boarding is lame soley because skiers can do everything they do and more. And, some of those ski boarders could be crazy good skiers, just get some longer sticks and learn to stop throwing their hands all over.

i've seen plenty of skiers flail and pencil spin their way to heaven. the larger jumps were closed when we went there.
