Ski boards need to go

today at mtn creek there were prolly about 50 ski board kids and 4 freeskiers including myself, its terrible kids need to stop being pussys on the little "ski boards" and continue making our sport grow and get on some bigger twin tips. our sport needs to move in that direction not towards ski boards
 
I think people need to stop bitching and complaining about skiboards, it's getting old. Let them skiboard, who gives a crap.
 
Try lecturing to them about how progressing freeskiing is of upmost importance. Fuck what they want to do!
 
Who gives a flying fuck about what others do. Worry about yourself. If they want to snowblade, thats great for them. Mind your own business and stop the senceless bitching.
 
dude, at our hill we have drunk sowblade Wednesdays. Talk about amazing. get everybody on snowblades, while drunk and cause carnage. kangs are flying everywhere! we are also starting up the RAD or real american downhill, which will consist of skipoles as gates on an easy slope, with uphill gates. winner gets a snickersbar. OPEN YOUR MIND.
 
who are you to say where our sport NEEDS to go man. our sport is different from their sport they can go in whatever directions they want to do. if people are actually throwin down on snowblades more power to em man.
 
wow, i think ive only seen 2 snowbladers so far this season. one was a young dude and one was a gaper mom. its pretty hard to believe people still use these things, though
 
my skiis only got shorter cause i got taller, : D (about to be fixed too)

i rdie poleless and dont like annoying ppl bugging me, so even though i think snowbladers should man up and go full size, i just let em do what they do and keep my mouth shut.
 
some guy with a pro model skiboard was filming at my little hill in ct a few weeks ago, and this guy was throwning down. he was soo dirty, and i honestly didnt have a problem with him or his team. if theyre good, and dont just pizza their way thru the park, im okay with whatever it is they want to do.
 
snowbladers have every right to snowblade...which doesnt mean i approve of it, but whatever. just go around them.

i mean pro model skiboards are made better than line skis, but you know

that scares me that they have better products than line, so i mean,

im gonna hate on it to make me feel better that their skiboards are better made.

yes! i had a good laugh when i saw the recall notice in the ski shop ! excellent.

line stopped making skiboards around 2002 or so and started making those garbage snowblades. i think the ones you are referring to, the bindings would rip out of the boards...

THIS IS SPARTAAAAA!! haha jk. skis, skiboards? whats the difference? its just length. plus skis are getting shorter and shorter anyways. and people are skiing without poles. if skiboarders enjoy skiboarding then thats good for them. some people just like shorter skis. nothing wrong with that. your hating on something that is similar to your sport but something thats not like snowboarding your totally fine wiht. it doesn't make sense. (and im not saying hate on snowboarding)
 
you really want me to explain? they are ruining skiing plus you only see little kids on them who don't know any better on them or moms and dads who are oblivious to why the sport was created

Fuck it, we're all the snow for the same reason.....to make millions of millions of dollars and hook up with tons of hot chicks?
 
its totally cool if thats what they want to do...but they should expierience the sport for what it really is. instead of a recreation....pushing yourself to do things that not many people try is the best feeling in the world like skiing a sick line in fresh pow that few ski...unexplainable feeling...i'm pretty sure ski blades would be a bitch in 2 plus feet of snow...

Thanks for the stoke man. I was one of the skiboarders you met at Sundown, I was filming. The rider you're talking about it Kirk Thompson. He's a great guy btw, super chill and will talk with anyone, anytime. Thanks for understanding skiboarders are guys just like you who just love sliding on snow. Now I'm not talking about snowbladers because they give us a bad name but true skiboarders are just out having fun and know what's what.

I'm going to upload a shot right now I took of a friend of yours. I think his name was Mike. He was pretty good.
