Anyone ever try them?? They’re illegal in VT, look like combo of skiing skating and snowboarding
 
i didn't know theyre illegal there now. do you mean the bear trap bindings are illegal? otherwise it's just a short ski ba, right?

weird cause skiboards were kinda invented in vt weren't they? haha
 
For starters start with the ban. It was reported by Ski Vermont on April 1 2015. Once again read the date.... April 1st........

They are not illegal just stupid. They come back around every 15 years or so. Definitely not a combo of anything other than fruit booting. They are a kick for a hour or so then go get some real skis.

I use them regularly and not ashamed of it. They suit my needs and I have fun on them. Check out skiboardsonline.com and their forums for everything you would want to know.

They’ve evolved a lot from the skinny 90s iterations and can be a blast in all conditions, ice to powder with the right boards
