I just read about this in Freeskiers new buyers guide, and think once it comes online in September, we should provide a link to it in the Resources section and use it as much as possible. The Regionals are great, but often times it is difficult to find the information you want or get the information you want out of an NS member on short notice. The wiki will be a good way to keep infomation freely shared about your mountain, because maintaining a thread is a PITA.

Check out more information at this link:

It is possible that we could do something like this as a part of NS, but until we do I think we should use this.

there shouldnt be, noones gunna be an idiot an ruin something, i dont expect some asshole to ruin the whole thing, ad freeskier will have already thought of that, AND since its wiki, then it should have countermesres like saving edits andthe aility to revert

I guess that depends on the want of the community who skis at that mountain to keep their wiki free of junk. Personally, I would want others to be able to find out about the real Big Mtn, and thus, I should put together a good wiki with content that is useful. I would hope that other locals in other places would be into putting their mountain on the wiki in the same way.
