Ski Area Opening

Hey NS, anyone know when the first ski area in the US will open up for this year?

Midwest will either be Tyrol Basin, Wild Mountain, or Trollhaugen. All open within a day or two of each other, and are always first 3 in the midwest. All should be open by Mid October, if weather cooperates.

Last year, the 2nd to open was Las Vegas Ski Bowl, of all places...

Most definitely Loveland. They are aiming for a September 29th opening day. Imagine a September opening, that would be obscene

I remember back in 2005 it snowed enough and was cold enough in late september for some of the Tahoe resorts to open....

They were just super lame back then and decided not to.

On the east going to Mont-Saint-Sauveur they got open October 18th last year.
