LOCATION- the flattest land in the US, midwest (specifically chicago)
HEIGHT/AGE/WEIGHT 6'6'', just turned 18, 160lb
ABILITY LEVEL- beginner
BUDGET
- cheap as possible, but if need be I'll fork over a few $$ to get something that lasts. like they say, the poor man pays twice.
WHAT KIND OF SKI DO YOU WANT- park/freestyle skis for grinding, jumps, box rails, urban skiing around the neighborhood, jibbing etc.
read the sticky and used it as a outline. but I come here to ask, with me being 6'6''/160lb and super lanky, what ski size do you recommend for me? I was looking into getting 12'/13' K2 presses after reading the good reviews about them on newschoolers but the longest they make them is 179cm.
also, how important is it that I spend a good amount of $$ on bindings/boots? I'd like to make these skis last for a while as I know i'll be beating on them as a beginner busting my ass in the park/urban skiing.
thanks a bunch guys!
