Ok, I know there are a couple of SP guys on here, so I figure they'll understand my posting of this thread.

What do you guys think of adding a snow forum to skateperception.com? I think it would be a sick idea since there are plenty of kids on there who ski and snowboard as well as skate. Since the season's coming up and I'm forced to go elsewhere for my snow needs, I'm really trying to push for one and get one up so we have a place to post snow footy and talk about snow related stuff as well.

If you support one, just go to the Comments/Suggestions section of the forum and say you want one. There's been scattered support for one, but if we get a lot of guys to show support for a section for it being put in, we could probably get one.

Yeah, I'm just stuck as to how we're going to get Steve to realize that there actually are a good number of people who want one. Maybe if we PM him about it instead of going through the comments/suggestions forum as usual. The season's already upon us yet nothing is being said/done about it.

Fuck, if SP wasn't down I'd be PMing Steve about it right now.
 
I think a snow subforum in 'Random' would be much easier to get than a brand new section altogether. I say we get a forum in Random, then separate subforums for each sport, that would be much smaller and easier to deal with. Let's not press our luck just yet.
 
Yeah, I've been on there and there are a whole lot less people than people who go on SP. I don't know if we would be critiquing snow footage just yet, even though I would definitely be in support of that. Right now I'm trying to simply get a place to talk about snow stuff on SP although later I would definitely be in support of a place to critique work that would get ripped to shreds if it was placed in Random Footy.

Idk what else should be going into it right now. What does everyone think should be included in a snow forum for SP (regarding subforums and types of topics those would be separated into, etc.)?
 
Oh yeah, and should we also separate it between Freeskiing and Snowboarding, or just have one uniform section titled 'snow'?
