alright the meeting went alright, they set a date to dedicate a whole meeting to skateparks in ottawa, we are pushing for an indoor skatepark and currently the city has no plans for one, there is budget though for these things, so we need support, and lots of it, if we want to get a skatepark made as soon as possible
heres the deal, APRIL 17 AT 7:00 pm (time and date might change, not likely to) there is a meet at city hall downtown, if you don't know where that is you get off the 95 at rideu walk toaward downtown on the left sied of the road (going against traffic) and turn left at the stair case, city hall is the building with all the flags in front of it
anyways this meeting is DEDICATED to us, the skateboarders, we want MORE THEN 100 people to be there, these meetings for other things like parks and recreational activities usually have 1 or 2, we want to show we are serious about this and that the city needs to do this, so please EVERY skater, rollerblader, bmx person or someone who likes watching skating go to city hall! we need support to try to push this thing, thank you .
