Agreed, I love skating so much even though Im not very good but its nice flowing around an empty park and doing easy fun tricks.

I suck at street skating. I can shove it, manual, and if the ledge is low enough nose slide really sloppily. Ollieing still is a fucking bastard of rage. I end up almost kick flipping the board most of the time.

Freeride longboarding on the other hand is a different story.

I've skated like park I guess twice and I can Ollie, pop shuv it, and drop in in the half pipe (which was scary af but easy) but I've longboarded and penny boarded for the past 2 years

Been skating since like third grade, or fourth? 22 years old now so it's been a while. I wouldn't say most important, but it's up there. To be somewhat cliche; all the music, culture, art and people I've been exposed to through it absolutely had a major impact on my life and myself. I'm sure you'd agree. Actually, skateboarding led me to park skiing come to think of it.

Did that once, then a kid tried to kick flip it, and it broke his wrist and he had to get a plate put in. I decided to go ahead and spread that bad juju around by putting all the parts on different boards after that.

I'm the same boat started when i was 9 or ten and i'm 23 now. Skateboarding just kills it, I can't get enough, definitely how I ended up in the park on the mountain. Stomping tricks is the best feeling whether on snow or da land jah bless

Ive been skating for about 5 years and love it, now this thread makes me wanna go skate and cruise around.

The one thing that blows is all my friends inline skate and are just starting out so they wouldnt want to go street skating with me. Anyone on here in new england skate in Boston? Ive had the urge to skate there since I got my license and want to go this summer.

I fucked up my leg skating, so I havent done it in a while, but it's really fun, and I also make skateboards, like spray paint them, hit me up if you want some cool geometric lines on a skateboard like a fucking van halen cover
