Is it hard to pick up the basics of skateboarding, because i am going to college next year and was wondering if it could be a good way to get around a small campus and maybe have a little fun every now and then?

Proll would have been better if you started when you were a little younger but whatever if you dont have a hard time adapting then yeah skatin rock to get around unless you have a BMX!

well its harder for some to pick up than others. for me it took me a fuckin long time. took me like a month before i was perfectly balanced to push fast, another 2 months to kickflip...itll take a while.

I picked it up pretty easily myself healflips came before kickflips though and i learned how to primo in and 360 popshove-it out before i could ollie!
