Look at a skateboard, and for what it is, people do amazing things on them. Now look at a dirt bike, for what it is I don't think its that amazing to do jumps and stuff because it has a fucking engine! I love skating, and will keep skating forever. I know this kid who skates to work and does just fine with that.

to the creator of the thread, there are skateboarders that do bigger and longer jumps, boost higher out of vert, slide longer rails, and drop bigger drops than you can even do on skis. As far as how fun it is to watch an average person skate, who the fuck cares, it's all about how much fun you're having... unless you really suck balls then it probably isn't great
 
I don't know skateing kinda scares me. Twenty stair case gap 360 flip to face plant on concreate sounds way more hardcore then unnatty 270 to face plant on snow. "Just my opinion" obviously!!
