yo im in scottland for a month and i dont have anything to do so i want to start skating, only problem is im not legaly allowed to work here and i have to rely on my mom to buy me everything (she lives here). anyway she dosnt want to spend much on a board so is this a good board?

and if its not do you have any suggestions for a good board? i know nothing about skatboarding and am just getting into it so help me out!

 
don't get that, if you're looking for a cheap but good board, get a blank, when I skated alot I used to get all my boards from this website:http://www.blankdecks.com/
these are pretty much pro decks without the graphics, and the site has legit trucks and bearings for cheap.
 
There's probably a shop in scotland somewhere. Just go there and buy a blank those are usually great. I wouldn't buy that unless you have no other choice.
 
blank decks, you can get em on ebay for really cheap. get them to come with griptape, then look for cheap other parts.
 
fuckk theres only one skate shop here in edinburgh and for a complete blank it is 80 pounds or 160 dollars
 
Oh and by the way, before buying, tell us all what size deck you're getting and the axle length of the trucks you're getting. This is the one spot where you can really fuck up.
 
lol i agree with the whole getting a blank thing, but dont order it through the internet. you probably allready know this, but it takes a while to get your order, especially if your in scotland, since your there for a month dont bother cause you'll get your shit a week before you leave.plus you'll end up paying out the ass on over seas shipping. ask the shop to cut you a deal, the worst that will happen is they will say no, so who gives a shit.

Deck- Get a blank ($25)Trucks- I haven't used them but maybe try some ccs ($30)Bearings- Reds are sick and super cheap ($16)Wheels- Again, try ccs ($16)Tape- Should cost too much ($5ish)
Comes to about $90 but could be quite a lot less.

hmm i figured that renner thing was shit but im soo bored so i asked my mom to get it, i hope she hasnt yet.

and if she hasnt im probly just gonna get the level 2 complete from the blank deck site, im not a good skater yet so i dont need the best shit out there. also the have a factory in spain so i can probs ask them to overnight it here

yea my mommy already ordered that one and it came like 2 days ago, it has pretty much no pop and the trucks seem like toys but whatever its still fun to mess around on
 
Go to the local skate shop and pick up a blank deck. Should be around $30 with free grip tape (that's what all the shops here sell them for atleast).

Go to the bargain bin, pick out two of the same trucks same with wheels and get some cheap bearings, ABEC 5s or Bones Reds.
