Skate helmets used as ski helmets?

If you use a skate helmet to ski will it be just as safe?

If not, in what areas is it not as safe?

Wear a hat under it. Wear your goggles between the helmet and the hat

Basically the only difference is that snow helmets are warmer with more... warmth

Nope. Dont use skate helmets for skiing. The foam in the skate helmets is not the same as in the ski helmets. They arent resistant to cold, so they break easily and they don't protect you at all.

but what if a pro sees u and decides not to introduce to his sponsor company...then u wont get sponsered and become pro urself...dude who the fuck cares

yeah this is exactly what i was gonna say. ski helmets can be skate helmets but it doesnt reverse
