They don't have to change anything but if they gave us a brand new, and not recycled map, I'd still buy it in a heartbeat.

·One huge mega map instead of three smaller ones

fuck that that would make the game so insanely hard. Theres a point of realism i want in a video game and skate is perfect. If i want to throw a 3 flip over a huge stairs fuck yea, i dont want to "catch" anything.
 
They should wait until the next generation of consoles. I feel that a 4th skate game anytime in the near future might be a bit overkill.
 
by putting the physics engine from skate one into the next game

the OG skate will forever be the most flowy and stylish skate to do tricks in thus the most fun to play. I've played every spot 100's of times and the other two games have better features and in game tools but i always keep playing skate. skate 3's physics suck asshole and are reminiscent of thps.
 
All I'm asking for is a whole new map with new challenges. Many a few control/physics tweeks, thats all I need.
 
New consoles wont come out for god knows how long, nobody's even got plans to start making a new console in the near future.
 
switch double rodeo with tail shifty for the first flip to opp hand grab with the second is probably just as hard and doesnt look goofy and "unrealistic"
 
Umm...wasn't it announced quite some time ago that there will never be a Skate 4? The contract for the Skate series was never renewed with EA after the third game came out, and I'm pretty sure Black Box broke up into smaller sections/shut down the HQ where Skate was produced to move in a different direction. I could be wrong, but I feel like I remember reading that somewhere.
 
Skate 3 is better than the other two in two ways: graphics and physics in riding tranny/vert. Before skate 3, anything involving half pipes or vert was miserable. In skate 3, pumping tranny is so fucking fun. I ride pools (haystings is trill) and carvatron constantly. Soooo fun to keep a float line incorporating lip tricks and stall and hand plants and whatnot.
 
allright i lied because this is true and i do it whenever i play skate. You should shred the bowl at the cube hotel, so much fun

but in air physics looks like shit
 
They're already developing next gen consoles, apparently developers have some pre-finalized kits so that they can begin to create games for a launch date around holiday 2013.
 
dont do it! the original is the best. but if you do, skip skate two. it was easily the worst.
 
TO ALL OF YOU GUIZE WHO DONT KNOW: if you want multiplayer on the same console on skate 3 just like in skate 2, you gotta buy the ; back to san van pack : multiplayer is in thur
 
Skate 2 was far and away the best in my opinion. The ability to get off the board changed the game so much and the physics were the bomb. And the ultimate in any video game ever made....Fun track...so much fun to just chill out with the boys bumping music and just ripping fun track. That level, and spot battle should be on every game, dont know why they took it out of skate 3.

Online shit ruined video games for me, split screen multiplayer defined my childhood and fun track gave the same sort of feel where you can actually get stoked with someone right beside you. Now everyone just sits at home alone talking on headphones.
 
Holy shit, this X1000000000000. I didn't even buy skate 3, I just kept playing Skate 2 and playing spit-screen with a buddy is the ultimate video game experience.
 
something they could imporove in skate 3 is bigger templates for parks to allow for slopestyle like venues, more pieces to work with for building, not a stupid board company as a plot line, etc. but 4 won't come out
 
yah i would like to see in skate 4 is no limits on create a park, and a much bigger create a park place. and i would like to see rollerblading just because, but thats not gonna happen.
 
they could make it one big map, with bigger jumps where you could throw 9s and 10s regularly. also able to dub flip on regular jumps without having to go over something. and bring back multiplayer horse.

i remember getting skate 3, running back to play with all our buddys only to look for the multiplayer for like 10 minutes.

its not fun to sit and watch someone else play, skate 2 did it right, up to 4 people best trick wins!!!
 
What? Skate 4 is way too old for me. I play Skate 7 on my ps5, witch i got from my cousin. Eminem.
