Skate 1 SO MUCH more legit then Skate 2

Skate 1: Has waaaaaay better skate parks (x-games, mega compund), way better music, smoother, and the replay effects are free, i think graphics are in my opinion, and little better, can spin faster and do more trips that are more skier like.

Skate 2: Better realistic feel/better skating feel, i hattteee the skate parks, except fun track. the feel has more of a flow, has the hall of meat, and better clothes.

I think skate one is better, i just had so much fun on it, and skate 2 had so many un-fun things, i didnt like the area and graphics/way different feel in skate 2. Parks were way better in skate 1, and way better music, and the backpack was amazing, and they had stores. Skate 2 just had skate editor, and the music did not please me, it seemed like having to beat all the pros in a throwdown was really boring and not fun. The story was better in skate 1.
 
ive only ever played multi player cause i dont own either but i LOVE skate 2, i like it way more than skate and i like the grafics in that little circle thing that tells you what to do in S.K.A.T.E. to copy the trick in skate 2 so much more, it looks so much better.
 
Actually No, Skate 1 came oot in September of 2007 and Skate 2 came out in january of 2009. i believe that is 1 year and 4 mounths.
 
i always loved skate 1 but then when skate 2 came out it was ill and now ii hate skate 1 its all at matter of getting used to it

skate 1 is really laggy for me for some reason, it's annoying. i hate how your character goes invisible too
 
I like the new grabs and such in skate 2 alot. skate 1 had better levels though. i really hate how there are NO good rails in own the spot in skate 2 though. very annoying. winged bench is ill though
 
i bought skat a month ago, its sick. and my gf just bought me skate 2.

cant 10 or dub. whats the tip to doing either
 
Retardedly big jumps, thats really all you need.
I never got skate 2, it sounds like I shouldn't bother though.
 
Finding the glitchy spots that let you finish those rotations(youtube), and also shifty your spins for that last 90 degrees
