Sizing question.

I'm looking into buying my first set of skis. I've been skiing since I was about 6, but haven't been for about three years or so. I'm thinking about buying Ninthward Firstbloods in 180. I'm wondering if they're going to be waaaaay too long for me. I like the wider waist, and I don't plan on spending any time in the park, except for the occasional run through for shits and giggles. I'm about 5'10", and 170 lbs. Am I going to feel like a retard trying to rollerblade down a gravel driveway on these? Any advice is appreeshed.

Yeah, whoops, I didn't see the gear talk section. If this could be moved, that'd be great. I don't plan on hitting the park, and even though they're a parkish ski, they seem like they'd be a good all-mountain ski, no?

180's sound like the right choice. especially since you'll be skiing la montana most of the time

OK, and last question before I buy them, will they be marginally different from a 173 in the trees? My other option is Prophet 100s in 173, but they're also 250 dollars more.
