Hi all. I've raced slalom all my life but got dragged along to a freestyle competition this winter. Realised its so much more sexy than racing so have binned my race boards and am looking to buy a pair of twin tips. Basically what length should i be looking for? Im 6'0" (183cm) Tall and weigh about 150-60lbs (70kg.

Also what sort of skis are a good first time park ski? Ive been looking at, rossi scratches, salomon 1080 foils and trans sansibar pro models as i can get them cheapish. cheers guys, sorry for the essay! peace. ali.

175-180 i think, ur obviously no newb too skiing and ur pretty big...if ur planing to centre mount and only do park thoe id deff say 180ish

Cheers guys! Thats gonna feel mental, cant remember the last time i even looked at anything longer than 165!

Sorry to be difficult but the softest boots i own are salomon falcons with a 130 flex. they're ok for free skiing but am i going to shaft myself landing in the park?

Foils are soft, scratches are pretty stiff what my experience.

He has a racing background, wouldn't it make more sense for him to go with a stiffer park ski since that's what he's used to?

From what I've read people have nothing but good to say about the scratches. Foils are good, but some people don't like how the cores not wood.

Eitherway, rpgcross has a sale going with 182 foils /w bindings for 300, great deal, size 182 which is perfect for you so if you want you could snag those.
