Size ski

I'm 5,9 170 and an intermediate skier getting better did 30+ days on the mount this year . Vail , Whistler, heavenly and I live on the East so go to okemo and mount snow everyweekd. what size Black crows captis should I get 178 or 171? I ride a 169 kastle but trying to step up my game

What's the next size up? Where are you skiing mostly? Often people will size up pow skis for more float but if you're skiing a lot of tight trees you might want to go shorter.

Also 106 isn't too wide for a pow ski...pretty everyday kind of width where I am. What lead you to choose the fx 106?
 
only reason to ever size down is tight trees.

I have a few 185/186 myself for tight trees, but 190+ for everything else.
 
Should I do the 176 or the 168? Thanks man
