Size Matters - Goggle size that is

Sooo here's my question.

I'm shopping around for some fatty goggles for next season, and I'm super down with EG2s because of the price/quality ration.Would also love to snag a murked pair.

But there are a few others that blipped on my radar.

So my question is this:

Which goggles from the following are the largest:

- POC Lobes

- Electric EG2s

- Dragon APX

Also open to suggestions.

Owned a pair of VZ Feenoms last few seasons - LOVED em.

I AM NOT INTERESTED IN:

- Crowbars, Splice, Airbrake

- VZ Fishbowl

- Smith I/O

you just could go to a shop and compare the 3.

the EG2's are pretty big. and they look the best out of he 3 IMO.

I felt EG2 was the biggest. Very wide view and very wide frame. Make sure you test before you buy. If you have a small face it might not fit well.

- I have a large face- I intend to go to a shop, but I'm more-so looking for opinions in this thread; suggestions even

- +K to solid help

Are the EG2s and Lobes similiar in size? Or are the lobes really meant for a more medium sized face?

I know the A-Frames don't look big but that's what fits around my glasses the best. The crow bars look way bigger bit my glasses don't fit in them as nice as the A-Frames. Not sure if this helps.

apx are weird. i wore a pair for a day and i thought the lens was going to fall off after every bump i hit. i definitely prefer goggles that have a visible frame. also, eg2's IMO have better peripherals and clarity

here, those are my apx, they look alot bigger from the front, because the frame is inside. but im actually able to see the sides of the frame when looking through. didnt have that with the eg2. but i think it looks doper than my eg2 and doesnt fog.

Lobes aren't that big, not even in the same class as the others. The spy platoon is massive as well. Out of those choices, I would go with the EG2.

I have EG2's... and they have never fogged, given I was pissed when I got them in the mail and the rubber electric logo was half sewn on/ half off. But functionality wise...best damn goggles I have ever owned

Canopy or eg2s would be your best options. I haven't tried the canopy's on yet but my mate has some eg2s and they were real real nice. They cover your whole face and you have really good vision

last season i switched back and forth between EG2s and IO/X. there was no doubt the IO/X was bigger. almost too big for me; the frame was so big it put extra pressure on my nose by sitting too low. the EG2 was a good mix between appropriate frame size and large lens.

On a separate note, if you are going for a blackout look, the POC Lobes All Black is the only full blackout option around.

PowderHuffer has a bunch of EG2s in stock and on sale: check these out

The IO/X isn't in stock yet, but it's definitely pricier too.

I just got a pair of murdered lobes and they aren't as big as I hoped that they'd be. None the less, they are still so sexy looking and I love them.

I tried on the canopy's at the store today and they are really nice. I would consider them over the eg2's simply for the lenses. Oakleys lenses are so much better and the peripherals are damn near the same. Get the canopy's

Wow everyone here was a HUGE hand in narrowing down a goggle.

I'm gonna be looking into a few of the other options listed, mainly the Platoon and Canopy.

As much as I love the IOX, it's a tad bit out of my college budget.

I'm also gonna check out the EG2 as well.

Unfortunately none of my local shops have any POC gogs - so I'm going to stick with what I know.

Thanks again everyone!
