Did anyone else realize that Orage and Siver are owned and managed by the same corporation? "Coalision" Company ownes Siver, Orage, and Lole. I had no idea until today.

did anyone realize that Siver Cartel is no more and Orage has disbanded them? so grab the shit now cause theres nothing new coming out next year

yea i heard that from clarke this summer siver is the sick shit but idk why orage would stop them from making stuff

orage is probably plannning on making its own line of street wear so theres no point in having both names when it can all be made under the orage brand name.

they should have made orange and siver under the name siver cartel instead of orage. just cuz in my experience siver stuff has been nicer than orage.

but siver is generally cheaper, its just a question of whether they will still do the siver type stuff with the orage name or not

are you kidding? yea there designs 'this' year were pretty rad, but the quality and waterproofness on them was fucking gross.

orage stuff is top of the line. siver, as much as i wanted to like the company (i liked a lot of the streetwear), their outerwear looked kind of weak and performed even worse.

WHAT?!?!?! NO MORE SIVER?????? who knew.

I guess I shouldn't make fun of people who are just out of the loop cuz they aren't as addicted to skiing websites as I am... :/

yeah this is what hapened i know a rep , orage owns siver right but orage just got so big they dont have time or siver, so there is still llike siver stff but just with orage on it

Yeah.. a lot of Siver stuff looked amazing... but 5,000 waterproofing on all models doesn't cut it...

i thought this years line had 10k stuff. and honestly, there are some days when its pouring rain and im in my siver, and my friends in his arc'teryx 3 ply goretex shell and we both get soaked to the bone

Orage stuff always seemed a little more weatherproof in my opinion. My old Orage jacket ruled for skiing cruddy days. Siver would be stuff I would wear on the street, but I'd take Orage gear on a heli trip, especially some of their newest stuff.

ive had super technical shells with amazing waterproofing and really shitty waterproof clothing too. I still got wet in both regardless....dont be a bunch of pussies

I think it was all 5k except for the dinner suit (which I have :D ) which was 8k I believe

cheap stuff but fairly good quality, I'd say same level as my previous 686/burton outfit, plus it looks way better.

next outerwear will definitely be orage though, the tweed looks so sick for next year.

I have the dinner suit in 'goose' color (strange name!) but very much attention to detail with this gear! I am very pleased. Nice little things like fold-over pocket flaps, the big wood buttons are easy to use with gloves on, and the fabric pattern is very cool too. Tramdock spec says 10k, but this is a pow suit I think~ Good for dry, light powder because of teflon coating. But many of their design was not very cool, and some of it very strange (turkish jacket!), it is another brand who only sells to a certain person, so not very much money to make. Unfortunate but this is business. Also, their gear is very very very baggy!

Kind regards,

hito

Well siver really is dead, but Orage will only make sicker clothes so it only goes on sicker.(I agree that the siver logo was cool...)
