Site to upload bigger videos

So i just finished my season edit but i can't load it on youtube or facebook or vimeo because its 1.2 gb, anyone know a site where i can still load a file this big without paying for it?

Oh and im on a mac, used final cut express to make the edit, when i double click on it and hit compress nothing happens

what format did you export in?

I exported it as a quicktime movie, when i tried to compress it some archive utility thing came up but i couldn't open it after it finished compressing and the size of the original file didn't change at all

try exporting in another format like .mp4 or something. what are your options? In movie production class at school we export from premiere in h.264 or something which is mp4 I believe. The quality is pretty good still and its a fairly small file.

I think Final cut only gives me the option of exporting as a quicktime movie

no you can export in mp4 i believe. How do you edit in fce if your shitty with computers?

Hahah it took me a lil while to figure it out, but once i got the hang of it it was easy enough. And yeah your right i was able to do an mp4 didn't realize what quicktime conversion was haha. I'll post the vid if anyone wants to see it thanks for all the help.
