Alright i know i've asked this question before but i'm really trying to help my sister out. She is going to get the Scratch girl FS or the Line shadows this weekend on the net.

Here's the deal though. She's been sking 140 cm non twins for the last 2 years. By the way 5'0 and 100 lbs. She wants the Scratch FS girl really bad. It either comes in a 148 or a 158. The line shadow only comes in the 158cm and its kind of her second choice.

She's not that great of a skier but she isn't horrible. Not really busting anything in the park except for the occasional box. Now what size should i recomend for her. I know everyone on here always says go big but i don't know if she is really going to need the 158. "we ski mostly in Indiana" What size should i tell her to get. I'm scrared the 158 will be to much for her to handle and she'll be regretting it. She's not that tall or heavy so do you think the 148 is a somewhat reasonalbe option for her.

yea why get the twins? buthow old is she? if she probably will grow go with the 158's but if you think she won't grow to much more or will get new skis in a year get the 148's

I agree why is she limiting her choices to twin tips? My little sister rides k2 one loves and just this summer I had her get Line shadows (157) for camp b/c she was killing park in the spring.

If she wants twin tips for the style factor I say get her what she wants and go w/ the 148. My g/f is a beginner skier and she uses 146, and she's around the same height and weight as ur sister. You don't want the ski overpowering the rider, espically when there still learning. The only reason I would go any bigger is if you needed this also to act as a pow ski.

if shes not going to grow a ton and not a strong skier go 148

if shes going to be skiing hard and legit trying in the park go 158

sounds like 148 i think

Alright well she's paying for the skis herself. She's only 16 teen and those rossignol fs scratch girls are what she wants. I think i'll just tell her to get the 148.

Like i said before she isn't a great skier but she isn't horrible.

The last question i have is what type of bindings.

I rock P12's PX12's and an older pair of P10's. She has a crappy set of markers on her old alpinas that go up to a din of 4.5 max.

I really don't know anyother bindings except for the salomons, 4frnt, Look/Rossignol that everyone else has.

i just got my girlfriend a pair of line celebrity's in a 151 i think and she is 5'2..the 148's should be perfectly fine for a while

depending on how hard she rides she could use the crap bindings, axium 10s, or p10s/axial 10s on the better side

^ ya u just want girl skis.... but thats ok cuz i rode on the line swadows and they are really nice. tuff with a little flex but not to much and they are also really lite
