Sir Francis Bacons or Prophet 115

Looking at the Line SFB or the Prophet 115, and wondering if people who have skied both have a preference between the two. Just graduated college at which I raced and going to be living in Utah. I would be using these skis as everyday/powder skis for skiing Alta or Snowbird. If anyone has any other suggestions for a good all around ski, that would be appreciated also. Thanks
 
Well, i got to test out the prophet 115 at Alta, and it was pretty fun. Holds a good edge, floats pretty well, and is super stiff so you can charge hard. The Sir Francis Bacon would be a much better choice if you like a little bit softer and more playful ski that can also ski switch in pow (prophet 115 has no early rise in the tail, sir francis bacon does). It all depends on what type of skiing you like, more playful or straight charging.
 
Pretty different skis. The prophet 115 doesn't really have a twin, and is definitely made more for charging all around the mtn rather than the SFB which is much softer, rockered, and better for playing around in soft snow. The prophet is a fun ski for chopped up and crappy snow, where as the SFB gets tossed around a bit.

IMO I think you can do better than both for what you're looking for. The first ski that comes to mind is the Armada JJ. It's still rockered like the SFB, but much stiffer so better in variable snow, yet still a good shape for jibbing around in soft snow. Better yet would be something like moment bibbys or on3p caylors.
