Yeah honestly the wet plus might be pretty dope for tele

regular wets would probably be too soft

My only concern would be if the core is tough enough for tele. You would probably have a pretty high chance of ripping out your bindings or breaking a ski

Freestyle tele skiers are a different breed, they shred so hard. Killington has a good amount of freestyle tele skiers who absolutely rip. Mad respect!

Saw some kid on mindbenders mounted with teles send the cleanest blind 4 at Killington.

Is NTN a whole lot better than 75mm cable bindings? My tele park setup is 75mm but I'm on the hunt for some used NTN boots and bindings, I don't quite tele enough to justify brand new boots.

I haven’t actually been on 75mm but from watching others the difference seems pretty big. I’d say that theres a pretty big difference between the 2 unless you get the stiff springs in the cable bindings

Idk tele skiing at all so I might be really dumb but this is a troll right? Like theres no way you can land switch on tele skis eh

Nah you just have to put some weight on your heels. Theres more spring resistance in NTN tele bindings than alpine skiers would think too

No I’m dead serious. He did it on directional skis too.

Kids name on here is [tag=162058]@StangelDangle[/tag] I’m pretty sure just looked at the Killington king of the park edits and he’s got a clip.

It's been a hot minute since I've tele'd but the bindings have a various amount of heel hold from basically touring skis to you could reasonably ski them like normal skis as long as you don't like to ski with forward pressure. Additionally, I know for normal tele you learn real quick to take a knee before you fall on your face going forwards, maybe the same is true backwards?

Yup...miles better. The stiffness of the whole system is the biggest difference, makes it much more stable in sketchy conditions. Also, with NTN, there resistance of the system increases as soon as the heel lifts, so you get linear flex all the way through. With 75, the boot can lift about 5-10 degrees before you feel anything, making it way more sloppy.

I got to try it for the first time last year, a friend from work used to only tele ski and he had the same size boot. Scarpa TX Pro and a 22 Designs Lynx (which is an NTN setup) and I swear man those springs were so stiff I spent most of the day alpine turning them because I could do it almost just as easily it was crazy.
