the last time i heard talk about simon doing a movie was about a year ago. now Peter mentioned it in his intervie/article. from what i remember simon has been shooting for the last 2 years and it will go along the lines of thats its thats all? is that right? just wondering what the stoke factor for the movie is, when its dropping, and any more information. i do remember there might have been a name for it, but i seem to have forgotten it along with any other info about the overall movie and if its even happening.
 

I believe he's in L.A. working on it right now with Riley. It's called Transitions and should be released through Poor Boyz this fall.
 
The movie is still coming out this fall I heard its going to be released right around the 17th of September.
The movie is a documentary on Simon and the evolution of Skiing. From what I heard from everyone it sounds like it should be sick.
 
It would be rediculous to compare this project to that's it that's all. The signifigance of what simon is doing is so minor in comparison to what was captured in that's it that's all.
 
Riley, Jake, and Simon are in LA finishing the film. The details are vague but I'm certainly looking forward to watching a film these guys put a maximum amount of effort into.
 
Seriously, I can't wait either. Love 'em or hate 'em, when Simon goes all out its always sick. I personally think he skis as well as any pro out there, I'm not sure what more you kids are looking for from him. I mean, you wanted him to do rails and urban, so he gave you the Slumdog Illionaire and Team America JOSS edits. You bitch about doubles, but he can do doubles, just doesn't throw them every trick. I just don't understand the hating on his skiing, but my favorite trick is a cork 3 so I am a little biased I guess.
His attitude is a completely different story, but I am still stoked to see the movie.

 
Simons movie is going to be dope. And the whole "new preception" of simon on NS these past couple years is bull shit. Does anyone remember forward? he was the thuggest little hommie out, and hes still sooo ill. Just because hes gotten to a level in his skiing when he is occupied with big competitions and shit like that, and isnt really hitting urban and shit doesnt make him a any less ill. He can do almost any trick over like a 140 foot jump hands by his side first try, now that is G. Hes done in skiing what most aspiring newschoolers dream of doing, making a living off skiing so you can do what you love all year round as your job. People should be wayy more stoked on his shit. Ill at pipe, jumps, and getting on his rail game on too. Pumped for the new movie!!!
 
Yeah he has a pocketful of tricks but it's like he has no individual style besides whatever the flavour of the week is. I mean I could respect him more without liking him if he kept doing his own thing instead of getting hyphy and what not, which I coulddddd write off to him just growing and evolving but in his JOSS edit it just seems disgusting how he wants to be the next Wallisch.

Anyways I don't think anyone can knock Simon on his talent but he's just not that lovable of a pro knowwhatimsayin.
 
thank you, exactely people hate because hes not doing the new trendy tricks that everyones stomping right now people just act like hes old news because twalls all they care about its a joke some people hate so hard on skiers that are pretty much that starters of what skiing is today in the park and pipe. Simon slays hard no way around that
