Simon Dumont edit about the road to Sochi

Simon is the fucking man. Never understood the hate for him on Olympics. Some people are more competitive than others, it's really not a bad thing. Besides, the dudes done so much for this sport. Who else would be able to pull off that quarter pipe record, hit that cubed pipe, or do any of the other ridiculous things he did in his time. So much respect for that dude.

Also, I can't fucking wait for the shit he starts putting together outside of the pipe. I can picture him doing some really burly shit in the backcountry. He's done some sick shit in the backcountry before, but I feel like now that he is going to dedicate himself fully to it, itll be insane.

I feel like the way he just presented himself really rubbed everyone the wrong way here. he had a competitive mindset for sure. Like a pro football/bball/baseball athlete almost, and it didn't translate well to the freeski crowd. without a doubt, he's a huge influence to pipe skiing. If you didn't enjoy the thall/dumont pipe duels, get the fuck out of town yo.

looks like some pretentious wall street bitch in that monkey suit, sucking the grundle of the free market to get whatever money and fame he can out of the sport

Honestly, I feel for him tearing his ACL, I've been through it too, and it sucks, especially considering the timing, but its not like I wanted him to win.

Things change fast in freeskiing. When the olympics were annouced, the US olympic team looked something like.

I remember when Simon was on top of the game, and won X-Games big air with a superman dub front. Still one of my favorite skiers!

In my book, Simon was never ever more on top of his game than 2009. The JOSS edit together with Wallisch. The Slumdog Illionaire edit. The X Games double superman front flips. All in that Oakley Air Raid suit which had ”loose fit” printed on the inner label...
