Holy shit. love this band, i couldn't believe there wasn't a thread on them..well there's one but it sucks. They kind of sound like a mix of band of horses and smashing pumpkins. Some of their stuff is mellow and some is more upbeat. I really like them because of their varying guitar riffs, from finger picking to power chords, they have really good variety. Swoon is the new cd that they just put out and it is pretty damn good, but their older shit is amazing as well. Listen to them. These videos are shitty quality and dont do justice, so just get the downloads at the bottom. I'll try to find the dl for the new cd

dude they are fucking dope.i love their music. except im not a huge fan of the new album. i was expecting way better but carnavas kicked serious ass. my favorite songs are common reactor, three seed, and checkered floor.

i fucking love silversun pickups. i'm not a huge fan of their new album (swoon) but i'm absolutely addicted to carnavas. i'm not even sure how to describe their music. grunge maybe?
