Sierras "sally"?

thats what the guys i ride with have been calling the alley at sierra this year... the "sally"

the jib line is great... but what is up with the jumps this year??!! such a perfect run for big guys and ... they put jumps 1/2 the size???

and not to mention that bashful isnt that great because its in the shade all day this time of year.. so EVERY park kid in the area is riding the alley and creating a huge mess of people at the smallest lift!

and... where is the vertical plus line for the alley?

and they took out the broadway park?.. so that doesnt spread anyone out at all...

i love sierra.. but I am wondering what is going on! ?
 
basically sierra wants to get voted for best park. so they are going in a new direction with their parks. aspen (where the pipe is) is going to be their biggest park, followed by bashful, then the alley, then the snowshoe park. most of the judges get a private park so theyre not worried about a bunch of jabronis clogging up the lifts. the alley is also a pretty short run, so they asked some questions through their facebook page, and most people said that they would like a bigger park on bashful. so sierra listened to the answers, and I'm happy with the result, but a ton of people really hate it. another reason for a smaller park on the alley is the south facing slope of the run. it doesnt allow snow to gather so its really hard to make big features. and finaly the reason they don't have a VP line on the alley lift is that it doesnt make a difference, there are so many VP members back their the line fills up so much its faster to stick with the non-VP lines. if you put in some input, sierra is really good about responding to customer feedback.they really love people critiquing theyre resort, so they might change it later in the season if you ask nicely
