Sierra Cement

Hey guys, I'm going home for thanksgiving break, (Home is around the Tahoe Area) and was curious if anyone has gone to Boreal, or Northstar yet this year, and if the conditions are even worth buying a lift ticket. My other option would be wait another week till I return and just wait till Bridger Bowl opens.

I was at boreal two weeks ago and northstar yesterday and this morning. It was fun but it was DUMPING rain. I got soaked. I suggest you go to tahoe in 1-2 weeks when snowmaking is at full throttle. It is raining everywhere in tahoe. today. The forecast is sunny for the rest of the week I think. Also northstars park sucks so bad l (but it's early season what do you expect?) currently but they have a really long run that is fun with a few fun natural jumps. Northstar is better for all around skiing and each day the park improves so northstar is the way to go

Appreciate it, and its not really me choosing when to go. I go to school in Montana, so I'll just be visiting home (which is Tahoe) for thanksgiving. Then back up here for finals week.

Ha then you should def go to northstar. The park is actually pretty good I was complaining. The park crew adds a feature or two each day or changes stuff up. I bet by next weekend they will have pinball up which is the main park. No big jumps just more rails and boxes. Maybe I'll see you there sometime!

Ya maybe haha, I'm not a big park guy, and I actually snowboard. Really enjoy steep and fast runs, and am not apposed to a nice run with some jibs off of it.
