any one ride with this brand of headphones? they look sick. met a coupe reps from them at dew tour. thinking about getting some.

i've only been impressed with skullcandy's higher end studio headphones, not their earbuds or other sets...
 
Weird, I literally just got mine in the mail today and just finished opening them and trying them out right before reading this thread. I got the Stealth with the mic and so far they are nice as hell. They are far better than the Skullcandys I have, I would recommend them.
 
i have gone through 4 pair of scull candy.....i got another pair for christmas i didnt wish for em.....anyway my friends go seige headphones and really like them

basically, every single headphone skullcandy and other brands in that price range offer to the public are the same components re-packaged and re-branded for the company who is buying wholesale. they will all fall apart/break like skullcandy tends to, and they'll all sound the same shitty way. except kids who listen to pop and hip-hop and other tunes that the average NSer listens to think they sound great because they have a really heavy bias towards the bass end of the sound spectrum.

Buy Seinheisers or something legit if you want nice headphones. Its worth shelling out the extra cash.
 
great brand they have some headphones like the icons but they fit uner a helmet because they have a slim metal piece that goes over your head they are sick and sound great.
 
Gone through 2 pairs of ink'd earphones, low riders, and a pair of hesh. So i've broken 4 too.

I'm done with skullcandy, but i'm not taking my giant rasta sticker off.

Those sieges look really cool though, 57mm driver is friggin giant.
 
No, Bose are fucking garbage, get learned and stop buying into bullshit marketing. it's common knowledge to people who know audio that Bose is utter shit. It's like cutco knives, utter shit but all advertising and fiendishly dishonest marketing.
 
To clarify

Bose is not utter garbarge. It is just very overpriced for what it is. The had strong marketing and many buy into the brand because of what it represents. A friend has the bose protable dock sound system and I must say that disregarding the price, it is an amazing product. Long battery life, suprizingly loud and clear sound for such a small object.

I agree with you that sooo many people buy headphones because of the looks and not what they sound like. (wesc, nixon siege or w/e)

And to that I say... nothing actually. haha
